Please Note:
While the Workroom may be reserved partially for events or outside groups, the space may not be reserved in it’s entirety, with rare exceptions.** As an open-door makerspace, we are required to continue to provide space for our users to work on their projects. You will encounter users in the space making noise, running power tools, or otherwise creating things while your event is ongoing — even if you are bringing a class. We can ask users to limit their activities to more quite things, but that may not be possible.
If you are a small group (five or fewer individuals), reservations are generally not needed. Feel free to drop in to use the space without a reservation.
** A few rare exceptions can be made for events tied to academic classes or some specific events. If you believe your event should receive an exception, or you have questions regarding this policy please reach out to the Director, Jonathan, directly at jgriffiths@babson.edu.
